An Australian woman has been arrested after she allegedly stole a Krispy Kreme delivery van filled with 10,000 donuts. According to police, she stole the van from a gas station on November 29, and it was found abandoned in a parking lot a week later. Worst of all, she didn’t even give away the donuts, as the van was found still filled with thousands of spoiled donuts, the Standard reports.

Sydney police said the donuts have since been destroyed, which had to be hard for them. Finding thousands of donuts and not being able to eat them? That’s basically a cop’s 9/11.

After a two-week investigation, police found the woman and arrested her. She is currently being charged “with take and drive conveyance without consent of owner, drive motor vehicle during disqualification period and travel or attempt travel without valid ticket” according to New South Wales police. Yes, that wording may sound weird, but it’s a direct quote. Australia can be weird sometimes.

Currently, Krispy Kreme Australia charges $15 for a dozen Original Glazed donuts. Doing some quick back-of-the-napkin math, that means the woman stole more than $12,000 worth of donuts. Boxes of Christmas Dozens, on the other hand go for $34.95. Krispy Kreme Australia also sells a Wedding Dozen for $39.95, which is a lot of money for 12 donuts but also makes us wonder why it’s not available in the U.S. Who wouldn’t want Krispy Kreme donuts at their wedding?

If you’re worried that donut lovers in Sydney won’t be able to get their sugary fix, rest assured that Krispy Kreme had no intention of letting that happen. In a statement, a spokesperson for the North Carolina-based donut chain said, “We are happy to advise that customers who were intending to purchase or who had orders placed at Krispy Kreme Charlestown will be able to get their doughnuts, as stock has already been replaced.”
