Disrupt Burrup protester arrested after allegedly chaining himself to a car on Mounts Bay Road

A Disrupt Burrup Hub protester has been arrested after he allegedly parked a car across Mounts Bay Road and chained himself to a concrete block in the boot, causing rush-hour traffic to come to a standstill.

The stunt caused frustration as cars lined-up bumper-to-bumper for kilometres as firefighters and police tried to clear the car and the activist, who has been named by the group as Marek “Maz” Misiewicz on Monday morning.
