Dogs sickened after eating ‘unknown substance’ in East York park

A warning has been issued to pet owners after two dogs in an East York park became sick from eating an unknown substance mixed into a jar of peanut butter.

Toronto police say the “possible hazardous material” was located within Taylor Creek Park – north of Danforth Ave. and Dawes Rd. – around 7 p.m. on Friday.
