Renowned for its international modeling agencies, Elite World Group is enhancing its leadership structure. Following the addition of Michelle-Marie Heinemann Scaglia to its board of directors in April 2023, the New York-based company has now entrusted the role of director of brand, licensing, and partnerships to Italian executive Flavio Facincani, effective as of early March.

In his role as director of brand, licensing, and partnerships, Facincani will report directly to Paolo Barbieri, CEO of Elite World Group, which encompasses agencies such as Elite Model World, The Society Management, Women Management, Supreme Management, EWG Management, and Women 360 Management.

Facincani’s responsibilities extend to “enhancing and expanding licensing opportunities not only for Elite and Elite Model Look but also for all brands within the group,” as emphasized in a statement by the New York-based organization.​

With an extensive background in the fashion industry and licensing landscape, Facincani honed his expertise at Swinger International, where he served as licensing contracts manager from July 2021 to March 2024, overseeing brands such as Genny, Versace Jeans Couture, and Just Cavalli. Additionally, he spent three years at Italian fashion group Blufin, contributing to the development of the Blumarine brand.

Established in Paris in 1972 by John Casablancas and Alain Kittler, initially under the name Elite Model Management (rebranded as Elite World in 2019), the esteemed network of modeling agencies has showcased iconic supermodels such as Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Gisele Bündchen.
