IISERs to Conduct Own Entrance Test, Will Not Accept JEE Score |

Mumbai: The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) have commenced the application process for admission to their BS-MS (Dual degree) and four-year BS degree programs. Aspiring candidates who wish to secure a place at any of the IISERs, including IISER Berhampur, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Mohali, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, and IISER Tirupati, should register for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2024) by visiting the official website – iiseradmission.in
The online application portal will be accessible until 13th May 2024, and the entrance examination is slated for 9th June 2024 (Sunday).Indian citizens, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Foreign Nationals are all eligible to apply for the IAT 2024. The website provides information about examination centers and other pertinent details related to the IISER Aptitude Test.
The IISER admission criteria for 2024 have undergone significant modifications. Only IAT 2024 scores will be considered for admissions to IISERs and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and IIT-Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced scores will not be considered for IISER 2024 UG admission. Additionally, applicants who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in the science stream in 2022, 2023, or 2024, with a minimum of 60% marks (general candidates), are eligible to apply for IAT 2024. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PwD) categories, the minimum score requirement is 55% to apply for IAT 2024
