Secret recordings — some old, and one new — dominated the day’s hearing in the continuing defamation trial pitting accused rapist Bruce Lehrmann against his Network Ten and their star source Brittany Higgins.
After weeks of evidence from Mr Lehrmann, Ms Higgins and those close to her, the trial’s focus shifted to those who investigated and interviewed the young staffer for The Project — in which it was alleged she was raped on a couch in the office of her boss Senator Linda Reynolds.
