Man, 29, arrested for Don Mills carjacking

A 29-year-old man faces a slew of charges for a gunpoint carjacking in Don Mills.

Toronto Police say officers responded to the armed carjacking call in the area of Don Mills Rd. and Lawrence Ave. E. around 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

Police allege a loaded firearm with an extended magazine and other evidence related to the investigation were seized during the arrest.

Jaiden Robinson, of no fixed address, is charged with robbery with a firearm; wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence; dangerous operation of a motor vehicle; possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000; possession of a loaded firearm; unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm; possession of a prohibited device; and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.
