NEET PG 2024 Exam Postponed To July 7, Cut-Off Date On August 15; Check Latest Update at nbe.edu.in

The cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET PG 2024 will be August 15, 2024.

NEET PG 2024: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate, NEET PG is postponed and will be conducted on July 7, 2024. According to the schedule released today,  the cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET PG 2024 will be August 15, 2024.  Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on March 3. Medical aspirants can now check the detailed schedule at the official website — nbe.edu.in, natboard.edu.in.

Earlier, ANI reported a potential timeframe for the NEET-PG 2024 examination, citing sources, which according to them will be held in the last week of June or the initial week of July, and in case of delays, counseling may be deferred to August. The COVID-19 disruption is one of the major concerns behind this recommendation, as students will complete their internship by June-July 2024, the sources told ANI.

“In supersession of NBEMS notice dated 09.11.2023 and pursuant to the receipt of NMC letter No. N-P018(20)/7/2023-PGMEB-NMC/000587 dated 03.01.2024, the conduct of NEET-PG 2024 examination which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on 3rd March 2024 stands rescheduled,” the official notice stated.

“The cut-off date for eligibility to appear in the NEET-PG 2024 shall be 15th August 2024. 4. The candidates are advised to check the exact dates of examinations from the Information Bulletins/ NBEMS website as the above dates are purely tentative and subject to approvals & confirmations,” the notice added.

NEET PG 2024 latest news; When will NBE start registrations?

Since the PG exam is now to be held in July, NBE will most likely commence the NEET PG 2024 registration in March. The NEET PG 2024 application form will be released at nbe.edu.in.

NBE website suspended

Amidst the chaos of the NEET PG 2024 postponement, the NBE’s official website nbe.edu.in was suspended saying. “This Account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information,” the nbe.edu.in website reads. The natboard.edu.in website has also been suspended by Google. There is no official statement on the suspension. Meanwhile, several medical aspirants and medicos have taken to X speculating the matter.

NEET PG is an eligibility cum ranking examination, serving as the single entrance test for admission to MD, MS, and Postgraduate Diploma courses under the NMC Act, 2019.
