The NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
NEET UG 2024 Registration date has not been confirmed yet; however, as per the reports, the application form for the medical entrance examination is expected to be released this week. Aspirants can fill up the application form as soon as the NTA NEET registration link is active on the designated portal. As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. Candidates can fill up the NTA NEET application form at the website(s) www.nta.ac.in and https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the online application form are their own and/or parents/guardians only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number only. NEET UG 2024 Exam Date: Speaking of the examination schedule, the NEET (UG) – 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024. The examination will be held in a single stage and will be an objective type test. Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG) – 2024.
Ensure that correct data is submitted in the online application. Any correction pertaining to the photograph and signature of the candidate will be intimated through e-mail/SMS and the same will be available in the candidate’s login account. Other permissible corrections can also be carried through log-in account only during the schedule fixed for the same. Candidates must ensure clear photographs and signatures are uploaded. Thereafter, no request for correction(s) will be entertained except when the window for correction in all fields opens.
NEET UG 2024 Result: For NEET (UG) 2024, the results shall be declared by the second week of June 2024. Candidates must bring ONLY the following documents on the day of the examination at the test centre. Candidates who will not bring these will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
- A printed copy of the Admit Card downloaded from the NTA website with a passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Application form pasted on it).
- One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during the NEET (UG) – 2024 Examination.
- One Post Card Size (4” X6”) color photograph with a white background should be pasted on the Proforma
downloaded with the Admit Card. The proforma with Post the size photograph shall be handed over to the
Invigilator in the Examination Hall. - Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original and valid and like PAN card/Driving License/Voter
ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card /Ration Card/ Class 12 Admit Card with Photograph /any other valid photo ID issued by the Government. - PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category.
NEET 2024 Registration: Check NTA NEET Application
- NEET Registration: A candidate can apply for the NEET (UG) – 2024 only online by logging on to https://neet.nta.nic.in/ (i) Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name as given in the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate in capital letters.
- Fill Application Form: Fill up the application form by providing the basic details.
- Upload Documents: Upload the required documents such as the photograph of the candidate, thumb impression, and signature.
- After completing all the given steps of the online Application Form, candidates may remit the examination fee by choosing the options given. Submit and download the form for future reference.
