A body has now been found, NSW Police confirmed on Friday.

Authorities are still searching the property, performing structural assessments as they go.

NSW Ambulance confirmed to 7NEWS.com.au that multiple crews were sent to the home.

The fire was so intense it forced firefighters to retreat as the walls around them started to collapse.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and authorities haven’t ruled out foul play.

Residents were evacuated from adjoining homes as crews continued their operation.

Counselling has also been offered to close neighbours.

“Police are on scene investigating the cause of the blaze,” NSW Police said in a statement.
