Roger Cook has joined senior police in calling for calm in Broome after a 45-year-old man was charged with restraining three Aboriginal children with cable ties, an incident the Premier described as “distressing” and “disturbing”.
Police were called on Tuesday afternoon amid reports that three children were swimming in the pool of a home that was vacant at the time.
