Intel Extreme Masters XVI Highlights

The IEM is always a standout of the CSGO tournament calendar. IEM XVI definitely didn’t disappoint. You could pick pretty much any fixture from the two-week tournament and find nail-biting highlights, but it was the final matchup that really delivered. At the grand finals, it was down to FaZe and Team G2 to do battle. FaZe kicked things off by selecting Inferno as their map, with G2 opting for Mirage. At first, it looked like G2 would walk away victorious, with the lineup maintaining an impressive lead up until the penultimate round. However, things finally came unstuck for G2 when the two teams did battle on Dust 2. FaZe quickly pulled it out of the bag, securing an advantage that secured them as victors of IEM Katowice 2022.

Intel Extreme Masters XVII Highlights

Another month, another Intel Extreme Masters. The 17th edition of the IEM saw FaZe return to do battle against CSGO heavyweights including Natus Vincere and Team Liquid. With a prize pool of $1 million up for grabs, it was all to play for. Pretty much every stage of this tournament was a thrill ride for fans, but the epic final was where the action was really at. Once again, FaZe clan tore through the competition to make it to the final round, coming up against Natus Vincere at the eleventh hour. As with all the best matchups, this one was hard to call up until the final round. Eventually, FaZe Clan walked away with a 3-2 victory.

ESL Pro League Tour Season 15 Highlights

It’s been a great year for FaZe Clan. As well as walking away with the top prize at both IEM finals, this American team cleaned up at the ESL Pro League Tour. After successive victories against the likes of Natus Vincere and FURIA, FaZe Clan secured a spot in the grand final. For many people, this was hardly a surprise. However, what did come as a shock was the Swedish team ENCE Esports making it all the way to the final round. It would have been easy to write

off ENCE Esports, but this was a fierce final that saw the underdogs more than hold their own. Ultimately FaZe Clan did what they do best and added yet another trophy to their ever-expanding collection.
