Sydney businessman injured in alleged kidnapping in Silverwater

A Sydney businessman has been injured in an alleged kidnapping, sparking a police investigation in Western Sydney.

About 8.30am on Monday, police were called to a business in Silverwater, after reports a man had been kidnapped.

Some 11 hours later, about 7.40pm, the man had been let go, police said.

Detectives were called to a home some 33km away at Grantham Farm, in Sydney’s northwest.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics for facial injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.

Strike Force Feller has commenced investigations into the incident.
