Noting that this was her 13th Grammy win, she told the audience she’d been keeping something secret for almost two years.

Swift, 34, announced that her new album, called The Tortured Poets Department, will drop on April 19.

“A secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years … my brand new album comes out April 19th,” she said as she accepted her award.

“It’s called The Tortured Poets Department and I’m going to go post the cover right now backstage.”

As she made the announcement, the audience erupted into loud cheers.

Minutes later, the album cover did indeed appear across all of Swift’s social media channels and on her official website.

When the news was announced and the album covered shared online, fans went wild over the unexpected news.

Swift also shared some of the lyrics from her new album.

“And so I enter into evidence/My tarnished coat of arms/My muses, acquired like bruises/My talismans and charms/The tick, tick tick of love bombs/My veins of pitch black ink ..”

Within minutes, the album title had been hashtagged more than 25,000 times on X (formerly Twitter).

“Like this woman is diabolical omfg.”
