Traffic chaos as truck fire causes closure of Sydney’s M2

A truck fire has caused traffic chaos on Sydney’s M2, with all city bound lanes closed.

The truck caught fire about 4.50pm on Wednesday on the M2 Motorway near Delhi Rd.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use Epping Rd as an alternate route.

Two of three outbound lanes were closed for some time, but have since reopened.

Videos taken by passing motorists show the truck engulfed in flames.

Fire and Rescue NSW crews are currently extinguishing the fire.

NSW Police are also confirmed to be at the site.
