Woman bitten by snake on Sydney’s Northern Beaches

A woman is in hospital after she was bitten by a snake on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

NSW Ambulance told 7news.com.au a woman, aged in her 30s, was bitten on her leg at Great Mackerel Beach about 10.30am on Friday.

She was taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in an unknown condition.

Although the type of snake is unknown, some reports suggest the woman was bitten by a “dark-coloured snake”.
