Woman walks into Central Coast police station with multiple stab wounds

A woman was airlifted to hospital after walking into a NSW police station with multiple stab wounds.

The 21-year-old walked into Wyong Police Station — on the state’s Central Coast — about 10am on Sunday.

Paramedics treated the woman at the station for wounds to her upper back and arm before she was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.

Her condition is stable, and her injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

A crime scene was established at a shopping centre in Tuggerah Lakes on Sunday, which will undergo forensic examination.
