A 3.5 magnitude earthquake was felt in Orange County on Monday evening, with no damage immediately reported.
The quake was recorded at 8:09 p.m. and was centered about 1.2 miles east of Fullerton, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

“A brief but noticeable earthquake was felt in Anaheim shortly after 8 p.m. Monday. We are awaiting more details with no major concerns at this time,” the city of Anaheim said on X.
Also in Anaheim, Disneyland temporarily closed at least 35 rides while conducting mandatory safety protocols.
The Southern California Earthquake Data Center reported an aftershock at a magnitude of 2.3 roughly 20 minutes after the original quake, 2 miles east of Fullerton.
People throughout the region, including as far as Riverside and West Covina, felt the quake and reported it to the USGS, according to the USGS website.
Police received several alarm calls for businesses in the area due to the quake, which were canceled before officers were dispatched, said Fullerton Police Lt. Gharah.
